I take on a small number of searches at a time and I execute them. That means sourcing roles against a written target, writing a resume variant for each specific posting, submitting inside the first five days a posting is live, contacting the hiring manager and the internal recruiter on every role, and following up on day four and day eight. Since 2020 the work has generated more than 2,200 interviews for clients in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

I also deliver the same work under other people's brands. Career coaches and small search firms bring me their clients and keep the relationship, and I run the execution behind it. That arrangement is described on for career coaches.

Most job search help is instruction. Someone reviews your resume, tells you what to change, explains how to network, and then you go and do all of it in the evenings after a full working day. The instruction is often correct. The problem is that following it properly is close to a part time job, and the people who most need the search to work are the ones with the least room to take that on.

So I sell the doing, not the telling. It is a narrower service and it is easier to check, which is the part I care about most. There is no version of my work where you cannot see exactly what was sent, to whom, and on what date.

Ask for the tracker. Not a summary of it, the tracker. If it names the role, the company, the date the posting went live, the date the application went in, the person contacted and the date of each follow-up, then someone did the work. If it gives you a number, it does not matter how good the number sounds.
